A photographers dream! Great Walks and stunning scenery: Granite Rocks, Sandstone Rocks, Lakes, trees and open space. Popular with Cyclists and Motorcyclists. On visits to Costa always include a day and picnic at the lakes(embalses are actually resevoirs). They are truly beautiful and the vibe is laid back and chilled.There is shade from the pines but you can hire beds for 3e .Parking costs 1e! Just an hour from Mijas Costa, the reservoirs (man made lakes) are always on our 'to do' list. We pack up a picnic lunch and head out for the day. As Canadians we did not know "embalses" are reservoirs. Beautiful views, huge area of clean green-blue waters with hills/mountains in the background. Beautiful area for hiking and great photo ops.
When the Embalses (reservoirs) were created I don't think anyone realised just what a wonderful outdoor area they were creating.... 更多
