Why to go there ? I could not understand . It is on the the way to Seven Sisters Fall but has nothing to see. approach roads are terrible.
This place is located around 20km from Gangtok, along the North Sikkim highway. Visit there for a sneak peek into Sikkim's cultural history. Nothing spectacular though
Historical place which gives you an insight into the true culture of the tribes from 14th century. There is a small temple and a park. If you are staying in Gangtok for a 4 or more days duration, you can cover this place.
Just visit this place, there is something very specail about the energy here. There is no great temple to enter nor any places to eat nearby but it is a simple village that has an amazing history and a lovely worshipping area where a blood treaty was signed between two tribes many many moons ago. Peace fills the air.

If you want to know about the interesting history of local tribes, do visit this place. A self explanatory place. If you have nothing much to do, just sit somewhere in this park for an hour, without talking to anyone else, just listen the natures sound, you will love that for sure.
