I spent an afternoon at this place and it was like magic, the museum it's very well kept and the information it's available to everyone, the house is one of the oldest buildings in this area, the floor, kitchen and paintings are the original ones that were built over 100 years ago, the garden it's great and it seems to... 更多
It's also a botanic garden, the house offers the traditional housing manners of the well-off people in early of 19's, it's also a good opportunity to see scaled models from near by cities and buy some traditional clay utensils for use or decoration
If you have less than an hour but would like to get a feeling for the local culture, this museum is nice to visit. I wouldn’t put it on the do-not-miss list, but it was pleasant to walk a little ways away from main part of town and see it.

A must! Learn about the area, history and see murals handpainted by the original Galeano family that first settled here centuries ago. Has a gorgeous botanical garden that we weren't able to visit due to being in a rush, but would like to visit next time!

Old wall paintings, beautifully carved doors and a large court. I think for the cheap price the building alone... 更多
Walking five minutes from the town square will bring you to this small but interesting museum and lovely garden. The museum does not offer a lot of artifacts to look at but the signage tells a wonderful story of this little town and the big role it played in the history of Honduras. The botanical gardens were started about one... 更多
I was impressed by the beauty of the house itself, the doors and windows and the frescoes on the walls, more than by the exhibition, with I found rather limited. Even though, I learned a few things about the local communities and their traditions, including the guancascos, the curse on Gracias and about national heroe Lempira. I would have rated... 更多
