A visit to Iligan is not complete with out seeing this FREE attraction! The falls are incredible tall, and you wonder at the water as it churns impellors for electricity, and rushes on down on it's way to parts unknown...

What makes it famous is because you can see the rushing waters split into two by a big rock at the brink estimated at about 320ft drop, thus, the monicker "twin falls". This was my second visit, but the place still amazed me! It is an excellent place to relax with cold breeze. There were some activities that young children could do. The place is well maintained, no trash around. It was nice to see the falls not just on pictures. This is worth a visit!
As what I told my friends from Iligan, I can only see Maria Cristina Falls from my elementary books before but now, I already get to see it in person. I was amazed. Plus the free shuttle ride and mini zoo.

Getting there... 更多

When we went to Iligan City, Ma. Cristina Falls was first on our itinerary. And when I came face-to-face that which I grew up seeing only in textbooks and postcards, I was mesmerized. It's like meeting an old friend for the first time. Too bad there was construction on-going so we couldn't really get too near. There's a viewing deck... 更多
