If visiting the area, I would certainly take the time to go to Cova de'n Daina, as a moment to get away from the crowds on the beach. The drive up there is curvy, and has beautiful views. The stone dolmen itself is simple (this is not Stonehenge!), but well preserved considering that it is completely unprotected.

It takes some time (15 minutes) if you leave the highway at Sta. Cristina d'Aro, but if you love these prehistoric sites, you will not be disappointed.
