We liked the temple specially because when we visited there wasnt a lot of rush which allowed us to stop and enjoy. Good spiritual experience.
This Ancient temple is what makes Gokarna a special place and definitely worth a visit, good souvenirs to pick up towards the entrance on the either sides of the road
This is old temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Not very crowded and easily accessible, 2kms from the Gokarna Bus stop. Do visit during the evening Aarti, its mesmerizing.
This temple is very sacred as Lord Ganapathi has himself placed the Atmalinga at this spot when Ravaneshwara was carrying it. The temple is spic and span nice helpful staff and we can touch the Atmalinga and do the abhishek ourselves
Its clean and organized, with people not creating much chaos. Darshan of atmalinga and pandit allowing it to touch was very good experience.

Small non crowded and beautiful temple, its in a compound surrounded by the math kind of architecture and the whole temple is a delight for any one who is interested in religion or old architecture. The authentic and old temple building is still excellently preserved through tradition. No middlemen and other problems found in commercialized religious places.
