Was a simple but interesting explanation and presentation on the life of glow worms. I gained new information about these little creatures and encountered them very close up and in their natural state. So this attraction served its purpose and we pleased we stopped. It is set in a picturesque setting with a winery outlet coffee shop etc so worth... 更多
We were on a cruise around New Zealand, and picked up a tour to the caves at Tauranga (Rotorua) NZ. We booked an 8-hr side trip toWaitomo Caves & Kiwi House. The bus departed at 7 AM for a 95 mile trip from the East Coast to the West Coast. Many of the following are facts we picked up from... 更多

This place is located in Queensland. It on a hill top. A short distance from surfers paradise. We rented a 7 seater and drove up and have lunch there. Upon arriving you can to see a beautiful view from top of the hill. There is a small lake and restaurant there. We went inside the glow worm caves and it's... 更多
This is a good little experience to do while at Mount Tamborine, its very informative on what glow worms are and how they live and you get to see inside the cave and you also get to see glow worms. It doesn't take long to go through the caves but is interesting and a fun little adventure that anyone of... 更多
Every now and then we head up the Mount Tamborine for some fresh air. This weekend past, we decided to go check out the Glowworm caves. We, being a 36yr old man and 32 yr old woman with no children in tow! That's normal, right?! Having never seen a glow worm and only heard the poem, I convinced hubby that... 更多
I enjoyed the whole experience. Always nice to learn something new and I did. It was school holidays though and I felt as though we were rushed through the whole experience which was a shame. I believe if you were allowed more time it would be fantastic - here's a clue - avoid school holidays. I don't believe the price... 更多
We are a group of 20s and early 30s adults. The attraction is a manmade cave and the tour takes about 20 to 30 minutes, starting with an educational video and a tour in a small cave. During our trip, the glow worms are in their infancy stages and hence, tiny to see. For $11 per person, it is slightly... 更多
Great place to stop and have a glass of wine and see some glow worms! When I went the worms were tiny since it was the season for babies but it was still amazing! Very neat to learn about and see in the caves!
Took our family to Mt Tamborine during the Easter break. We went into the Glow Worm Cave property Cedar Creek Estate Winery and saw the Glow Worm Tour shop front for tickets. We were told for an additional fee we could also see the Frogs of Frog Hollow. We were waiting for quite some time to see the Glow Worms... 更多
Visited here as part of a holiday with the kids.Very informative guide and great they are working on the conservation. Having worked in some major nature based tour organisations i understand that nature cant perform on cue.The guided stated several times that there weren't many to see that day as they were over fed because someone left the door open... 更多
Really well organised and highly educational tour of artificial caves purpose-built for glow worms. We loved seeing the glow worms and had a fabulous tour guide. It was also nice to wander around the small grounds and see lizards, frogs and turtles. The staff are fabulous and really friendly. It is a great value for money and brilliant for kids.
The tour and facilities were quite good but I just don't think glow worms are very interesting. Perhaps we expected more than what they had to offer but at least we can say that we have done it now.
We did tour with Real Journeys. It was very well done. --Comfortable 20 minute boat ride across beautiful Lake TeAnau --Wonderful slideshow and commentary before we did our tour telling us about the life of the glow worms and the discovery of the cave --Very well done tour with about a 15 minute boat ride in the dark inside the... 更多
