This Botanical garden is within walking distance from downtown and offers a wide range of flowers, cactus and trees. The glass paintings at the entrance is very beautiful. there is a nominal entrance fee for this attraction. Not very big, but worth a visit
My wife and I had a stop at Cosmovitral on the way to the Piedra Herradura Monarch Butterfly Reserve last February. I'm glad this stop was included; I would most likely not have made the trip to Toluca just to see the Cosmovitral. That being said, it was well worth the time we spent there. Toluca is an industrial city, not much to see there. Most attractions are day trips outside of the city. Aside from the cathedral and some other churches, this is a nice place to spend some time visiting. It is a botanical garden, so expect to see vegetation in a greenhouse environment. The place is a large space featuring a fountain... 更多

This visit we saw orchids and other spring/summer flowers. I'll never get tired of viewing the stained glass. Just breathtaking!

It's a steel-framed enclosure set with hundreds of pieces of stained glass imported from all over the world, depicting the dualities of the evolution of humankind. In all my years of travel,... 更多
This place is beautiful, you can admire a wide variety of plants growing in different settings from the deserted ones to the oriental places just as in a Japanese garden. Not to forget the extraordinary stained glass house that hosts the place.
