I was asked to take some pictures of a family out in Onaping Falls. The scenery is breath taking. Took pictures on the bridge, on the rocks, beside the trees. It was fall time and the leaves were turning red and yellow. Beautiful place to take pictures of a Wedding Party if you don't mind the trip to get there.
We cheated and took the short route which was still a bit strenuous but it was totally worth it. It was beautiful. First go to the A.Y. Jackson lookout off 144, then proceed about 1km north to a sandy hill with lots of trails. You can avoid the 1.5 hike.
Found the short cut parking lot to the falls....just past the entrance, it's a sandy lot looking area. You can swim there. We saw people bringing towels and picnic lunches. You'd just picnic on the rocks, not tables. We hiked the marked trail, stood on the rocks, put our feet in the water...such a beautiful place! Too bad some people... 更多
