Fascinating! A ferry that never touches water! It is suspended by cables hanging from the bridge above. Very unusual. The ferry is small, but wide enough to take a few cars the quick trip across the Nord-Ostsee canal single-file. Really nice experience to travel with this unique vehicle. The bridge is also nice to admire being the landmark of the city of Rendsburg. Nearby is a restaurant where you can have something to drink or to eat while you admire the ships crossing the channel.

As it replaces a local road that existed before the High Bridge was built for the... 更多
