Congratulations are due to all those who have got together and put this fantastic exhibition in place. Everything, well almost, is clearly labelled in English, as well as German of course. It's not often that we spend around 90 minutes in a museum of this size, but the time went so quickly. Is it 3 or 4 floors that you... 更多
Stopped off here on ride out, parked at top of the road and walked down. €3.50 to get in, interesting facts about the bridge during the war & lots of info in English which was useful. Nice that they portray it as a place of peace now after its importance in ww2.
The museum exhibits are located on several floors inside the tower meaning there are quite a few steps to climb. Well worth the effort to take your time and absorb the history.
Remember the old days when museums had objects with signs and nothing more. Then this the place for you. It is a jumble of old war pictures and peace bromides. There appears to be no system to the displays and you wander from room to room with little rhyme or reason. There are a lot of stairs and minimal ventilation.... 更多
While staying in Cologne, I decided to take a side trip down to Remagen via regional train. The cost round trip is minimal and takes approximately 40 minutes. The small village is quaint but walking down to the Rhine River is what makes this a must see. Do wear comfortable walking shoes and enjoy the walk along the Rhine to... 更多

Many of the exibits had English translations.... 更多
I was very pleased with the variety and quality of the exhibits. Most of them had both German and English explanations. Many period photos were displayed. Good use was made of the space in the building and it added a perspective on the impact on the people of the town. The focus on peace was balanced with the role the... 更多
Went with Rail Journeys to Remagen. Well organised. Hotel was good with buffet style meals, all inclusive. Other excursions to Rudesheim and Boppard were good and the visit to the vineyard was excellent!! Time for own choice of what to do and see. Tour manager was well organised. The Peace museum was particularly interesting.
