We visited at the end of September. The weather up to our visit had been wet so the rivers were in flood so spectacular. We took around three and a half hours to do the full walk and on the whole really enjoyed our walk. Some of the paths are a little challenging and pretty muddy after the rain. On... 更多
This is a must do if visiting Yorkshire. Absolutely amazing place .....especially after a lot of rain . The walk is hard with lots of steps and up hill strenuous sections ....but well worth the effort. There are toilets and a snack cafe halfway round . Make sure you check times of main cafe. ....we planned soup after the walk... 更多
My partner and I enjoyed this walk, it had nice views and is a reasonable length at around 8.5km. It took us around 2.5 hours. What can I say it was very hard work trekking uphill and down dale but well worth every huff and puff absolutely stunning views, and waterfalls not very good if you are a bit unsteady on your feet. We took our time and enjoyed every moment.
The trail is very well maintained and easy to follow.Sturdy shoes are a must particularly when wet. The scenery is awesome and the various falls are mesmeric. A great way to spend a morning or afternoon.Would love to return in March time when the falls would be at their most spectacular. Well stocked cafe and clean toilets at the start... 更多

Numerous waterfalls and on the stretches without, the views of surrounding hills are really great. £6 per adult and this includes your parking... bit strange having to pay to have... 更多

We walked the trail today with some Canadian visitors who are staying with us. The trail is great and winds through a picturesque gorge and then opens up to a view of the wider Yorkshire dales. The walk is reasonably challenging at times due to uneven ground, so wouldn't be suitable for those who are not steady on their feet.... 更多
