We popped here as it was close to our b&b, the lady who did our wine tasting was lovely and very knowledgable about her wines - which were lovely. The place was very welcoming and friendly would definitely recommend a visit.
We loved our wine tasting experience here. The owner gave us a great sampler of wine and she spoke both English and French (including Italian, of course). She was very helpful and friendly. We bought a bottle of the Reserva (Chianti Classico) and it was excellent.
We learned a lot and the wine was good but they do not ship to NC. Our marketing guide was from Amsterdam and spoke good English. They produce Chianti Classico
This is a smaller family run winery which has a great story for both the vineyard and the wines. We particularly liked the story of the "inversus" blend which is 90% merlot and 10% Sangiovese, the reverse of their Chianti Classico (get the full tale from the host). Downside here is that the more unique blends are quite pricey at... 更多
My husband and I visited the property since it was in walking distance to our B&B. It offers beautiful views in a gorgeous, rustic setting. We especially loved the olive oil tasting offered.
The tour was somewhat lacking. The property is beautiful but the winery is quite a mess. The tasting room is beautiful but the presentation was clinical. The wine was dispensed from an automatic machine portioning out the glasses. Yes, I do understand that the machine flushes the bottles with nitrogen keeping the wine fresh. I just think on a wine... 更多
Very near Panzano, the Fattoria Casaloste is a smaller family owned and run winery and olive farm. We were greeted and warmly welcomed for our visit to the farm, vineyards, cask aging facilities and tasting area. Had a nice tasting of vertical Chianti, Chianti Classico, Rosso and blends - all quite good with our taste towards the Reserva. Very informative... 更多
I chose this because of the value. it was a 1 hour tour for only 8,9 euros. all the others i saw online were about 40-50 euros and lasted a few hours. For me, i am not so interested in lengthy explanations. We tasted the grapes and there were by far the best grapes i have ever eaten in my... 更多
Small, but special setting. Very welcoming atmosphere. We were the only ones attending a stop-by wine tasting and we were not disappointed. The guide took the time to explain the process and their vineyard's history - including the tale of why the rooster is the symbol for Chianti. Pro tips: 1. This section of Chianti is within an area of... 更多
We were staying at Il Casselo and this vineyard was in the backyard - so to say. Petra was an excellent host and explained the family business, the region, and what went into the different wines. Highly recommend stopping here on your tour.
