We spent an hour or so looking at snakes, crocodiles and turtles, but mostly snakes. Our three year old enjoyed them all! Our guide was not fluent in English but by the time we were halfway through a man came to finish our tour and he was fluent. But by the time he arrived, our guide had removed the snake... 更多
We made an effort to get to this place because we thought my 12 year old son would enjoy it. The most impressive thing about it is a giant carved wooden snake at the entrance. When we got there, there was a guy holding a snake and talking with some local Panamanians, but that was all. There were lots of... 更多
By visiting the serpentarium you are supporting the organisation which rehomes and relocates some abandoned pets/reptiles. The tour is very educational and would be a great introduction to the kinds of species you might come across if you're hiking locally as many of the snakes are local species...local as in some of them had been found in gardens and streets... 更多
We had a good time here looking and learning about all the reptiles they had. My son was allowed to touch and carry snakes and we all learned plenty form the experience.
Learned about the local snakes and other critters from a volunteer from Florida. Got a couple of good pointers with respect to identification of poisonous snakes. A little disappointed in the number of species on display.
The organizer of the Serpentario is a young panamenian that studied biology in the States and one of the most important herpetologists in Panama, and he is involved in saving the Golden Frog, he deserves more recognition and is worthwhile the visit and paying very little for the visit and understanding more of local serpents. Must be seen in the... 更多

A volunteer managed to guide our small group in both English and Spanish and was tangibly passionate about reptiles and their conservation. May not be what you're expecting for children as the numbers of reptiles varies according to the rescues so there can be only a... 更多
Was surprised to see the exhibits. Great docent, American who loved to speak in English. The girls 12 & 9 handled a small Boa. They loved and it made for great photo's. $20 for 3 adults and 3 children. They are trying to expand and have more exhibits. This is only going to get better.
The serpentarium itself is a simple affair, a single small building with less than a dozen glass enclosures displaying some... 更多
