The port of Harlingen is a lot about Rederij Doeksen. They rule the waves going to and from the islands. A lot of people come to Harlingen to catch a ferry to Terschelling or Vlieland. The walk on the beach and the path to the port is simply relaxing and a delight to do. You can enjoy the many ships sailing in and out of Harlingen and have a coffee to enjoy the afternoon. A very nice place to be at.
you need less than 15 min to see this, including time for pictures, but is really nice. specially in a sunny day, Buy and icecream or sit on a terrace and enjoy!
Quaint little port town on the Waddensee, with ferry links to Wadden islands. The town is picturesque and has a nice vibe. There are a good selection of restaurants and pubs that will keep you entertained for a couple of nights.

One can get a very nice view from the port as well as reach the beach to enjoy the day there. There are restaurants and cafes... 更多
Harlingen is a quaint little sea side port that is often windy and not exactly warm but it has a charm to it that draws me to it. Beautiful historic buildings, canals and tall ships. This is a place that I often daydream about.
No visit to Harlingen can be enjoyed without a visit to the Port. It's a blend of Old Europe mixed with modern technology that evokes a memory of what it must have been like hundreds of years ago. It's been beautifully maintained as well without ruining the old flavor - we loved it!
