I have made 100s of trips across the Ohio Ohio and Kentucky. It just reached a milestone of having operated for two hundred years....it is a cheap but fun and relaxing way to get across the river--a must do thing when visiting the Greater Cincinnati area.
The ferries look a little weathered at first glance, but they are sturdy and a great way to quickly get from Cincinnati to Northern Kentucky! $5 to relax in the sunshine and take in the views rather than fighting freeway traffic ... great deal! Unique little attraction that's worth a stop - make sure to have cash.
I use this whenever I go to or from the airport. It's a great shortcut. Only takes a few minutes to get over to the other side, drive up the hill and you are there. Always felt safe on the ferry and it is very inexpensive.
I travel weekly on the Anderson Ferry because it is close to my home and the easiest way to cross the Ohio River for me to get to the Greater Cincinnati Airport and Northern Kentucky. But in the summer, spring, and fall, the sunsets when there are partly cloudy skies over the river are as beautiful as sunsets I have... 更多
Walk ons, bicycles, motorcycles or cars. Great way to get from Ky. Or Cincinnati.i have been taking this ferry for 55 years. Go on a beautiful summer day.
Super fast way to get from the West side of Cincinnati to Kentucky or the Airport. It a really cool experience you have to try at least once.

It is always a blast to cross the river on the Anderson Ferry especially on a bicycle which I have done many times. Prices are reasonable and the equipment is well kept. There are only 3 ferries still running on the Ohio river. We are fortunate to have one of them.
These guys have been running the ferry for DECADES and I feel very secure on the ride. It's fun on a sunny afternoon, but the main benefit to me is the time it saves getting to CVG versus getting stuck on I-75.
