Amazing piece of quiet and solitude up in the hills. Great art, but even better are the walking trails - especially if you do the loop around the lake.
I absolutely love Weir Farm, the only National Park dedicated to art. You can tour the artist studio, hike the grounds, and even grab art supplies to make your own masterpiece. We have visited in the summer, fall and winter. Artists were painting flowers, buildings stone walls, winding paths and the sunken garden. Friendly beautiful historic grounds and working buildings. Worth the trip.
I took a ride to Weir Farm today for a nice late summer visit. This was my first visit to Weir Farm. While not large in scale this was a very pleasant visit that filled my day.
