Nice small beach near the Natatorium. Parking is somewhat of a challenge but once you get there, it will be well worth the effort. The sand there is wonderful and there are very few rocks. The beach is quite wide so you don't feel crowded. Numerous condos and smaller hotels in the area but you are far enough away from... 更多
Never crowded. Bring a mat or beach chair. Showers convenient. Nice, protected beach inside the reef (no waves). Warm water. Signs posted warning for jellyfish, but we did not encounter any
This beach is down the Diamond Head end of Waikiki and is in fact the last beach. Walk past the Natatorium War Memorial and you are there. Great swimming and snorkeling, Lifeguard, Toilets, shade, drinking fountain. This is much quieter than Waikiki main beaches and much more relaxed. One of my favorites.
Waikiki and Ala Moana beach are very popular to local people. The Kaimana Beach also popular for local people because of beautiful water and shallow beach. That is why so many kids and family stay at the beach. But finding parking is one of hard parts.
Kaimanas is a great beach to have a bbq or social gathering as there is a lot of grassy area right near the beach. The water is calm so a good place for swimming, especially with kids. I have be coming to this beach since I was 5. It is a local spot and there is plenty of parking and not a lot of people. The water and sand are beautiful and you can snorkel as well. The is also a lifeguard station, so someone is watching if you are going with a family. There is also... 更多
I have been coming to kaimanas with locals for several years now. You can often find free parking. But if not, cross the street and they have reasonably priced meter parking. This beach is so quiet and relaxing with a nice view of diamond head...love it.
Kaimana Beach is where many Local Folks from Oahu go to hang out. The hustle and bustle of the tourists is further down and so are the crowds.
