A very artsy suburb of Buffalo. Nice little restaurants, Farmer's Market on Saturdays, and a number of shops to go in and check out. Town also seems very dog friendly, as stores have treats and bowls of water set out for canine visitors.
We toured the Elmwood Village one sunny Spring like Sunday in March, lots of snow still there but we were in sweaters. The shops are terrific. Lots of local goods and great restaurants. Lexington food co-op is a must stop. Lots of local goods and great take out food. Neat consignment shop across the street. Picked up a Brooks Brother's... 更多
My two daughters and I went to the Greek festival a few block from the elmwood village this past weekend. The festival is great and has wonderful food, music and Greek heritage information. We then walked around the neighborhood and just took I the sights ( there was also a pride celebration going on so the area was busy and... 更多
Elmwood Village is a cool section of Buffalo, with a small Farmer's Market held there during Spring and Summer Saturdays. It is worth the visit to stroll through the blocks long park between the streets and to see the many local shops, restaurants and businesses. Unfortunately not many of them were actually open on Saturday mornings, so shopping here will... 更多
I always see new restaurants or shoppes in this area. I love walking here. People are friendly and locals know each other., but are friendly to visitors. MANY places to eat. I enjoy the area during summer, but will do Christmas shopping in this area, too.

Elmwood Village is where I shop such as Talking Leaves (my local bookstore), Everything Elmwood (for quirky items and birthday gifts), Spoiled Rotten (for everything Buffalo and Elmwood Pet Supplies (for my animals food, treats and toys). Some of my favorite restaurants and bars are on Elmwood too (ex. Cole's, Blue Monk, Casa-Di-Pizza, Pano's, etc). During the summer and fall... 更多
I live in the area, so maybe I am biased. But, I love living in this area. Many places to eat, shop. Luckily I have my own parking space, because parking is at a premium. But a great place to live.
I enjoy the shops of Elmwood Village, especially the Lexington co-op, Studio 806, and the unique small boutiques. Nice that there are things not elsewhere and Starbucks, and loved the summer street fair. Elmwood Village is often part of my morning or afternoon walks as it is close to Chapin Parkway. I think the now out- of- business gas station... 更多
Most of these reviews are written by people who have never traveled anywhere outside of Buffalo. Yes there are restaurants, nothing trendy or inspiring. Shops are same old shops you see everywhere. If you are expecting a French Quarter or Key West shopping experience you will be very disappointed. Yes this village is a " nice area" of Buffalo, but... 更多
