It's an easy hike, and not very far. The falls are beautiful, and vigorous for a So Cal waterfall. You can also do the Lizard Rock portion. It's a more difficult hike, but worth it. Total mileage for both was about 5 miles.
I took a $40 cab ride to this place from the Four Seasons even though it was only 8 miles away. The scenery is very pretty, but the waterfall itself is just ok, and it's urban runoff, so don't go wading in the water. The hills are good and steep and you can get a decent workout. Wish we'd had... 更多
I did the hike to the falls at 3pm - still a very hot time of day! The entire trip took about an hour. There are maps available in the carpark if required. The walking path to the falls is wide, seems to be more fire trail for vehicles at some points. There are a few hills to contend with,... 更多
This is a popular hiking place, the waterfall is small but is still there, remember to bring water and wear a hat, pace yourself and have fun in the beauty of nature.
I only gave this a "4" because it is suffering from the drought. It used to be spectacular now its really nice. Still a great place to sit by and think
After reading the reviews, we stopped in the park around 3:00 pm to take the quick hike to the falls. We grabbed water bottles, thank goodness, because someone mentioned it in a review. As we started up the first hill, I passed many winded people, so began asking how far and how hard the hike was to the falls. It... 更多
So cool and unexpected. Hidden away in wildwood park. Gentle trail that anyone can hike. It's only about half hour each way. Hardest part is the 2 flights of stairs at the falls. I heard about the falls and came to see. So much better than the little trickle-falls in Malibu (solstice, escondido) The falls are real. The one is... 更多
We arrived in Thousand Oaks on Saturday afternoon and decided to take a walk after 5 hours in the car. We saw that Wildwood Park was not far from our hotel and decided to go there to stretch our legs. The views are magnificent. The trails are well marked and in good shape. Definitely worth checking out.
This is a hidden gem almost in plain sight. This waterfall, and park, is located right in Thousand Oaks. To get to the trailheads, you drive thru a neighborhood where you will find the parking lot. From there, start hiking! You feel as though you are far enough away from the local hustle and bustle and really get to enjoy... 更多
