We seek out local candy shops whenever we travel. The Chocolate Smith is our very favorite. The homemade treats are smooth, creamy and delicious. A huge assortment of innovative and local flavors are available, along with classics like peanut butter bars. Our favorites are the espresso drops, tequila lime caramels and green chile pistachio bark. Wow!
Yeah, yeah, the rest of the chocolates are really great, but the White Chocolate Lemon Lavender Bark is why come here....every time we are in Santa Fe. And I order it for Christmas and Valentines. This product is totally unique and has an incredible flavor...one that you realize should have always been in your life.
While staying in downtown Santa Fe, we ventured to Chocolate Smith based on recommendations from Trip Advisor. Although not within walking distance from the downtown area, it was sooooo worth the trip! We always try to visit local chocolate shops while on travel. Chocolate Smith offers dark chocolate selections with unique southwestern flavors. At first, I was unsure about the... 更多
If you prefer dark chocolate over milk or white, this is the place for you. Hand crafted on site, the dark chocolate and fresh caramel candies are incredibly good. There are so many different varieties that you can't possibly sample them all in one visit. I didn't really care for the white chocolate lemon lavender bark, but the raspberry, chocolate... 更多
We stopped in to see what all was offered and we were so impressed! We came away with quite a few different pieces of chocolate! We had no idea this shop had been on the Food Network...that was an extra bonus! They had chile infused chocolate as well as your "standard" favorites. They also sold different barks with piñon nuts.... 更多
As a dark chocolate lover this shop hits on all cylinders. The chocolate is loaded with rich, deep, dark chocolate flavor and has the right mouth feel and melt. If your idea of good chocolate is Hersheys then this is not a place you will appreciate. This is a place where you go when you want something unique and high... 更多
We snacked on the chocolate chili pistachio samples while the young lady weighed out our purchases of lavender-lemon bark, toffee, and, yes, chocolate chili pistachio bark. This is a tiny place where you can walk in and see chocolate fountains running in the back to temper the chocolate before they pour it. The lavender lemon bark was somewhere between $33-36... 更多
We went to 3 of the 4 chocolate shops on the Santa Fe Chocolate Walk and this was our fave! Everything was so good we bought more chocolate than I would have ever imagined!
If you take the freeway up from Albuquerque, you'll pass the original Chocolate Smith on your way into town. Do yourself a favor and stop for an assorted box. Such amazing caramels, barks, patties. My favorites are the chocolate dipped ginger and the crushed mint bark. Oh! And the caramels are to die for. They also now have a store... 更多
You can taste the chocolate before you enter the store, then once inside the most decadent chocolates you can imagine.... 更多
