I was in town accompanying my husband at his convention. I attended the Saturday vigil mass as the church is close to the hotel with easy access off the Riverwalk. What a beautiful and welcoming church. Truly remarkable devotional art, statuary and traditional gothic style architecture. The pipe organ sounded divine.
How can you rate a church? This is a beautiful place to worship, see, and find peace. The Priest was very welcoming along with the congregation. Thank you for opening your place of worship to the weary travelers.
Awesome arcatexure and wounderful people. Its a place I would have never thought of goingbutthis place was one of my favored places out of all the spot I visited
Our family was welcomed to Sunday Mass by the Pastor and he celebrated a beautiful Mass. We were privileged to visit this Church and the parishioners should know how blessed they are to have such wonderful clergy!
This is truly a wonderful surprise. I discovered it by accident while walking around town, and was amazed to learn about the German community that had been intertwined in this Church's history! The exterior is quaint, but the interior is absolutely gorgeous. If one is particularly interested in attending Mass or any special service not offered in English (Spanish, German... 更多
We attended Good Friday Mass at St Josephs. The Mass was celebrated in both English and Spanish and the Bishop was the most humble and inspiring Bishop i have ever encountered. If all Catholic men of faith could spend time with this Bishop then I am sure our church would make a seamless transition into the modern christian era. The... 更多
Beautiful Roman Catholic Church just a few blocks from the Alamo - kind of hidden between more modern buildings. Missed it the first time and had to double back. We loved it because it's rare to find a Church anymore with real candles. My son love the experience. Very peaceful and wonderful architecture. Unfortunately we did not make it there... 更多
The church is situated near La Villita neighborhood and the Alamo. It has a very comfortable feel unlike many that are over-the-top ornate. It was a very pleasant experience. We recommend it to anyone visiting San Antonio.
We originally wanted to hear the German choir but didn't get the dates right. Best probably to call ahead as thy had a different schedule during Easter. Website wasn't easy to find. But the church was beautiful and the congregation very welcoming. We attended Palm Sunday mass and the service was wonderful. The organ and beauty was worth it. They... 更多
we "stumbled" across this beautiful Catholic Church while walking around downtown. While it is small, the stained glass, the alter, the balcony, and the pews are all a wonderful reminder of faith and reference to God. This church is well maintained and a great addition to your San Antonio tour.
