Historic German mansion of the man that founded the Pioneer Flour Mill (the Guenther family). Everything made in the area at the time was corn flour. Mr. Guenther introduced wheat flour. Very nice outdoor brunch and indoor restaurant on ground floor, second floor museum and a gift shop offering their Pioneer Flour Mill pancake mixes, et all, to take home... 更多
Worth a quick look if you are inclined to visit the King William District. Amazing example of period architecture. Also an interesting art district. We used the hop on/off city bus to visit. It was hot so take water.

We spent some time here while on a "mission trail tour" - fun gift shop, we enjoyed the food in the restaurant, their baked goods are famous! Worth a visit.
Always interesting finding out about a family business that is still vital after so many years. They have been milling since the 1850's and still in the same family.
We stopped here on our bus tour. It is cool but not much to do longer than 20 to 30 mins. The restaurant smelled great but we had eaten already.
