Loved how they started the show out in the main street with everyone gathered around. All of the actors were very invested in their parts and able to improvise well. Audience participation is encouraged. Beware that if it is a hot day, the venue is not air conditioned.
I learned a lot by watching and participating in this witch trail. The actors played multiple roles, but did so with creative (and quick) costume changes. It was well worth the money spent to see this.
I'm a history teacher and historian, and I was quite impressed. This live reenactment of a witch trial is based on the actual documented evidence of the witch trials. There is so much "junk" in Salem as a giant tourist trap. It's actually pretty sad considering the tragedy that occurred here. Don't get caught up in the tourist traps like the "Witch House". They performed a pretrial of Bridget Bishop, the first person killed for whitchcraft in the Salem Witch Trials of 1692. We were pulled into history and asked questions of the accusers. I... 更多
Interactive aspect of the play is fun but it is also historically accurate and a great way to start a real history tour of other parts of Salem and New England.
This is a theatrical production of the PRE-trial of Bridget Bishop, the first woman to be accused and tried as a WITCH in 1692, to see if there is enough evidence to hold her for a formal trial as a WITCH. YOU are the jury. Several actors take on multiple roles to portray members of Salem in 1692 and present... 更多
