This wonderful historic site is definitely a bit hidden in urban Mount Vernon but really worth a visit! I had a very knowledgable tour guide who took me through the historic church and around the graveyard. Definitely worth a visit for any history buff interested in the Revolutionary Era.
Very interesting piece of American history. Shows usage over many years, including function during the battles of the 18th century. Interesting video presentation and displays of models depicting battles. Also displays of uniforms and pictures referring to the era. Well worth a visit. A jewel in an area of urban development.
