Ok, so there is a group of rocks. They are arranged in the shape of an A. It is a high perch that looks out on the city. Not really an amazing stretch of nature...
Great road up the mountain--wide enough and mostly one way. It is a reasonable climb and not a "white knuckle" affair. Stop a few places a view the valley and realize the size of Tucson--quite large. No way to describe the feeling and sensation one gets when you over look the town of Tucson. A rare sight and an absolute glorious one at that!
Drive to the top for amazing views of Tucson...mountain named for the" A" on its side for the UoA. Road up is narrow with no guardrails...part of the fun!

It was a beautiful view but the park needs some TLC. Graffiti on some of the bigger rocks and some "shady characters" hanging out made us a little nervous. It really is worth the time though because it's a breathtaking view once you get to the top!
