If you are visiting the Providence area for the first time and you would like to glipse at some historic properties, then College Hill is a good area to visit. The Benefit street area including college hill is a lovely spot to see old beautifully restored houses, stone sidewalks and visit a few nice old buildings. Great place for a day trip, lots of walking around. We found ourselves here on a recent college road trip. Had lots of fun, easy parking, lots of food offerings for all $$ ranges. If you go over the summer, make sure to have some of that frozen lemonade from the food stand in the corner, easy to spot!!
Separated from downtown Providence by a branch of the Providence River, College Hill is not just where college kids live.... 更多
