Great time at the Zoo!! Spent a lovely Saturday there. Arrived there at about 12:30PM. There is a lot of parking available (free). Lots of animals to see and lots to learn. What I love about this place is that on a nice Saturday, it was not overly crowded. More than enough space to get a great view of the... 更多
The animals here appear happy and healthy, they have babies here which means good things. They are constantly updating and improving the exhibits. When my son was young we would come three or four times a week
I did not visit the zoo but rather took a walk in the Park. Located a short drive from downtown Providence, the park has more than 4 miles of trails and a beautiful lake, along with several historic buildings and a botanical garden.
We went to the Zoo on a shinny day in spring with the grandkids. We, the grandparents are from Denmark living in Copenhagen. Compared to the Zoo in Copenhagen this is a small Zoo with relative small amount of animals. They all seem to have lots of room and that is a plus. Many things to do for smaller kids.... 更多
I love this place and take my family there several times a year for different events. It is probably the best and least expensive with the most attractions anywhere.
I'm not a hippie or animal rights activist, but they should have better habitats for their animals. The one single elephant was walking on cement, sadly bumping into the corners and picking up the chains with it's nose. The grass around the fence is worn out from the elephant reaching out and picking at it. We breezed past the zoo... 更多
Roger Williams Park Zoo is a great way to spend a day! We weren't sure at first how big the zoo was or how many animals we would see but we were pleasantly surprised. I have to say there were many unique species here. We really enjoyed our day at Roger Williams Zoo.
We love this zoo and visit it many times a year. It is clean, has a great variety of animals in their natural habitats and is affordable. Honestly, I love elephants and I could just sit and watch them all day and have felt like I had another great day at the zoo.
We love how the animals are almost always awake and walking around. We caught the elephants getting a bath. The baby goat area is fun for a hands on experience (complete with hand washing station when they are finished). Don't forget to get a Del's!
