We never pass a old church that is open to the public. This is a beautiful historic church from the very beginning of Albuquerque. It is a beautiful gem. We wouldn't miss this.
So nice to find historic churches such as this open for pilgrims and visitors. Small and quaint, located right in town square of Old Town, remember to make a wish when you enter the church the first time.
What a wonderful church. The pastor/priest was welcoming and engaging. My favorite part, at the end of mass, was when all the children rushed to the front to participate in a song and voice their commitment to God.
Oh how it made me feel to stand in the middle of something so old and so beautiful. Made me think of so many years past and how the American Indians prayed and joined together in this spiritual place and continue to do so. Beautiful, just beautiful.
San Felipe de Neri Church is smack in the middle of Old Town. There is a nice park directly across the street from the church. The restored church is beautifully maintained inside and outside. It is open to tourists and is a nice place to sit and reflect for a few minutes while browsing the shops and restaurants in Old... 更多
Beautiful Catholic church, lovely feeling and great place to reflect for a moment. It appears that it is open during the day for anyone to view and stay awhile if desired. They have a well stocked gift shop next door with many nicely crafted items. Definitely worth a look.
This a worthwhile stop while in Old Town Albuquerque. It's an old church in the middle of the action there, but so beautiful inside. It's still being used today apparently.
A beautiful old Mission Church with a friendly priest. Free donuts & coffee after Mass. They also have a wonderful gift shop as well as a store next-door that sells crafts made by seniors who get 100% of the money. Right in the heart of "Old Town" Albuquerque. Must pay to park unless you get there early and park on... 更多
Beautiful, old church, founded in 1709. It's open to the public so be mindful that it is a place of worship. The gift shop next door is also very nice.
We went to San Felipe de Nero church today during our time in old town. The original church was here from 1706 but collapsed during the floods of 1792. The current church was built a few year later and it virtually original apart from the roof and additional extensions added over the years. The nice thing about the church is... 更多
