This touching memorial to a much-beloved, award-winning Téjano pop singer, Selena Quintanilla, murdered at age 23, is on North Shoreline Boulevard. It’s at the entrance to the 600-slip Corpus Christi Marina and a T-Head. Free parking is nearby. The life-sized, 5’8” bronze statue is sheltered under a gazebo. Selena looks seaward, her right leg raised and a microphone held in... 更多
The structure holds the memorial to Selena and sits on the seawall. Quite the tribute to someone that was loved internationally.
The Statue is on the seawall and the parking is free. Great place for pictures. When in Corpus its a must see and walk place. There are a lot of restaurants to pick from.
This Shrine to Selena if a must see for all Selena fans and anyone who visits Corpus Christi. The statue is life sized and an excellent likeness of the queen of Tejano. This is a great place for a photo op and is always occupied by people. This is located along the seawall by the entrance to the T head... 更多

No matter how many times I visit Corpus Christi I will always stop and visit this statue. This place is more than just a statue. Is a way of remembering the young life that impacted the Latino community. Selena will forever be remembered!! Do know that the location is gorgeous with many surrounding restaurants and bars. Or if you just... 更多
This monument normally has several people around it at any given time. It is right along the seawall so a lot of people pass along. It is a nice monument that has information that is played over recording in both English and Spanish. Some people like the monument and some don't but either way as you are cruising the seawall... 更多
Selena's statue was approved by her family, but I've always thought it looks trampy the way it has her leg up and the way she' dressed. I don't think it adds anything to the bayfront, but it does attract tourists.
I have to say, sometimes we take for granted what we have and this is no different. Looking at this creation and thinking about her life and what you were doing on that tragic day. I will say it was and still is a Spiritual moment for me. She will never be forgotten...
