You will need to have a few hours free to see all the great stuff they have on display. The range of things is very wide so there is something there to please most anyone. Military and family get in free.
This is an unhurried museum where you can relax and enjoy all that is presented. The exhibits are very well done and present a lot of visual information. My six year old daughter's favorite thing about the aquarium was to pet the jellyfish. Had to tear her away after 15 minutes. Lots of interesting exhibits, more than enough for one day. Will need a whole day once the new wing is added. Splashpad was excellent after a long day. Only thing I didn't like was the inevitable gift... 更多
Young to old - everyone will find something to enjoy here! Lots of hands on discovery. The exhibits capture your attention. We spent almost two hours here and could have actually stayed much longer! History, nature, science, and fun! This is one stop that would be a "must do" on any day!
I was looking forward to seeing the recreations of Columbus' ships and was very disappointed to learn they had been removed 2 years ago due to degradation. The museum recently updated their hands on children section and they did a great job. Periodic elements, the human cell with parts, DNA, physics and newton's law, etc. All sections have hands on/interactive exhibits. The stairs double as a piano.
