Amazing architecture, quite unique and well worth a visit if you are in Cienfuegos. Nice setting by the water and we wondered up to the rooftop bar for a drink and to enjoy the views and cools breeze. We didn't try the restaurant as we have two young children and it looks a bit pricey and not very child-friendly (so... 更多
A must see in Cienfuegos and to think to barely avoided the wrecking ball! The architecture is absolutely amazing and well restored or preserved.
Very sad to see this place falling into pieces little by little due to lack of maintenance and poor management. We didn't try the menu at the restaurant locate on the first floor. But we walked the area that was opened to the public and it was depressing. I will not recommend it.
Got waylaid at Lagarto night before so missed rooftop drinks - arrived v early and well before 10am,so closed. Had to pic through open shutters to take pics as we had early start. Architecture is detailed, figurative and quirkily out of place. Moorish in influence and in excellent condition, with birds chirping in the garden. Wish we'd had time to... 更多
The restaurant is located in a magnificent building from 1917, belonging before the revolution to a baron having sugarcane plantations in this area. Despite of its age and the economical circumstances, the building is very well preserved. The restaurant belongs to the Hotel Jagua and opposite to our experience at the hotel, the service was focused, friendly and fast. We... 更多
I haven't eaten there but I have seen the menu.I usually go to the top where you have they have a local group playing Old and new Cuban ,music. There tables to have drinks and enjoy the music. It is a fabulous place to watch and photograph the sunset.
Had dinner at Paladar Ache. Lovely family have transformed the back of their home and yard into a large entertaining area. Beautifully finished with subtle lighting. Great food. Paladar's in Cuba for dining and accommodation the best way to go.
This is a former home of one of the wealthy people before the revolution. the architecture is amazing. There are many crook and crannies to explore. The terrace has a bar to have your drinks and view the sunset.
Love the architectural as well as the interior. The details are magnificent. Too bad it's turned into a restaurant. Roof-top bar, however, is a great place to sit around for a drink and chill out with a great view of the whole bay area of Cienfuegos.
On a flying visit we stopped off at the Palacio de Valle and it is a stunning mansion that used to belong to a billionaire merchant. Worth a look if you are passing through.
