Loved the section of beach they had for dogs!!! For those of us who travel with our pets because they are part of our family, this was a great spot. Usually dogs get the part of the beach with rocks everywhere, and obstacles to the water. Not hear, dogs have access to the sandy areas and a great sand bar... 更多
Yes we are back again hoping it would be as good and as well looked after as the last time. And guess what it was as good and is still well looked after. Lovely medium camping sites, which were great for the hot days of this last summer as the sites are well treed. Peaceful with easy to medium difficulty... 更多
The trails are average in difficulty but the views are great. Its a perfect way to spend a fall afternoon enjoying the scenic vistas and fall colors.
I recently went to Point Farms for Thanksgiving. I've worked in a Provincial Park for a few years but hadn't actually been camping for a while. And I'd never been camping in October. It was cold, but the sense of community among the campground was astounding. Every Thanksgiving weekend, Point Farms puts on festivities. There's a site decorating contest which... 更多
I've come to enjoy and expect well maintained Ontario Provincial Parks and Point Farms is no exception. Excellent roads and facilities. Very nice beach. First time I've observed the staff use turn signals inside any provincial park I've visited. Nice to see them lead by example, well done! Gladly making this park a regular destination.
Very pleased with this park. Huge site with excellent privacy. Trails are a bit too easy but can made up for by walking down the bluff to the beaches a couple of times a day. Even the dog had a blast at the large dog beach. Exceptionally clean and friendly staff too. Will definitely be keeping this on the shortlist... 更多
I want to give this place a horrible review as I don't want it to become too popular... However, I can't. This place is amazing for families, doesn't have the losers that drink and party at the Pinery, amazing beaches and offers sites with great privacy. To top it off, it's on a bluff overlooking Lake Huron so there's always... 更多
We parked our car at the entrance, just off highway 21, about ten minutes north of Goderich, Ontario, in March (as park was closed still) and we and a few others, walked all the way in to Lake Huron. It took us about 1.5 hours in and 1.5 hour back, but we took our time as we had a small... 更多
Lots of great site options that allow a lot of privacy and space. Beautiful beach and waves were so much fun for the kids. Tons of stairs down to the beach but there is parking available by the beach. Although it was a trek, it was totally doable by foot. My 6 year old and 3 year old managed up... 更多
