Great place to go hiking on the paved trail or trails in the woods. The cabins are really cool and my kids loved seeing them and learning about the soldiers who camped there. Surrounding towns are great places to go explore after this.

I go to school near this park and sometimes when I drive home I drive through Jockey Hollow. It is absolutely beautiful especially in the fall. The leaves are just such beautiful colors. I have also gone on some hikes here and had a picnic close to the soldier huts and again it is just so beautiful and fun. Also,... 更多

We took children to Jockey Hollow during a quick weekend in NJ. We truly enjoyed the walk. We were able to enjoy the wonderful fall weather and scenery.

Went in early November on a beautiful fall day with 3 kids who are 13 to 10 years of age. My kids go to a private school so they had a day off mid-week while the public schools were in session. There were very few folks there and no school groups on this particular day so we practically owned the... 更多

Jockey Hollow has excellent paved and I paved hiking trails that span for miles. It is also an interesting place to learn about our history and how the soldiers under General Washington lived during that fateful winter in the area. Great place to take your dog to explore the woods and you can see deer and possibly a black bear.

Jockey Hollow holds a lot of historical significance as the living space for the soldiers in the Revolutionary War. There are soldier hut replicas at the top of a grassy knoll. There is a road that runs through and around the park, and plenty of places to hike. It's a gorgeous piece of property.

Anytime you go to a place like this...where men overcame all kinds of suffering & odds & yet persevered & rose above themselves...how can you not rate it a 5 or whatever the highest rating is... because of what happened there. We were there on a single wet clammy cold fall day...the soldiers spent a long harsh winter encampment there... 更多

Wonderful historical place to explore. If you are lucky you can tour the Wick house with a historically accurately clad guide. Don't miss the attached garden. Soldiers' huts are about a one mile hike. Great visitor center with interactive features and movie. Located in wonderful park setting with plenty of trails for hiking. Entrance is free

The park is beautiful and has so many trails to choose from. Plus there's lots of history there. It's easy to find with plenty of parking.
