Great place to go hiking on the paved trail or trails in the woods. The cabins are really cool and my kids loved seeing them and learning about the soldiers who camped there. Surrounding towns are great places to go explore after this.

Jockey Hollow has excellent paved and I paved hiking trails that span for miles. It is also an interesting place to learn about our history and how the soldiers under General Washington lived during that fateful winter in the area. Great place to take your dog to explore the woods and you can see deer and possibly a black bear.
Jockey Hollow holds a lot of historical significance as the living space for the soldiers in the Revolutionary War. There are soldier hut replicas at the top of a grassy knoll. There is a road that runs through and around the park, and plenty of places to hike. It's a gorgeous piece of property.

We were there on a single wet clammy cold fall day...the soldiers spent a long harsh winter encampment there... 更多
