Really just went to the Barns & Noble bookstore. It was too small to really carry any interesting titles - but I was able to find a few books to read. I wouldn't make a trip out there just for the bookstore again.
The area surrounding Emory University has nice art galleries and the campus is a nice, shady area in Atlanta to explore. There are often exhibits at the library and Emerson Concert Hall, Schwartz Center for Performing Arts and the Michael C. Carlos Museum always have interesting international cultural events planned!
We stopped here for a college tour for my 16 year old. The day we went it was pouring down rain - which made for a miserable tour but I can't blame the school for that. However, we were split into groups of 10-12 with a student guide. There must have been about 10 groups our morning. We all started...
A wonderful place to go to college. A beautiful campus in a great neighborhood. Friendly atmosphere from students, faculty and staff. Safe. And most importantly, an unbelievable education for your children. Comes at a hefty price though!
Check it out.
