This is my 4-year olds favorite museum in town! I thought it was a bit too small and there could be more activities for the price of the ticket (about $15) but the child loved it so it was worth it. Her favorite activity was the "farm to the table" area where they have replica of a cow (that can... 更多
At $14.95 for everyone this place looks a little tired. Several of the parts of the ball transfer systems needed to be balanced (the air conveyor), alligned (the balls kept falling off the rails), and the pulley to lift a bucket of balls (I had to strain to move it). Other features needed to be spruced up, for example the... 更多
We took our 8 year old boys for about an hour, that's as long as it took them to move through all the exhibits. There aren't a lot of activities for older kids (although they recommend up to 8 years) and some of the ones they did have were broken. If you have younger kiddos it should be fun. There... 更多
We had a really fun few hours here with our daughter who is 21 months old. Her favourite areas were the grocery store (mini shopping carts were a winner!!!) and the farm section. It isn't huge here but there's plenty to do and there were always quiets corners to play in, we started off playing with the duplo and wooden... 更多
I recently accompanied 3 children (7, 5 and 3) to the Children's Museum of Atlanta. Despite the crowd and that some of the exhibits were not operating properly the children had a great time and are ready to return! Lots of hands on educational things to do for little hands. No food is sold on site but there is an... 更多
So it's worth the trip if you have small children and need an activity. Unfortunate that they will charge kids from age 1+, as there is not much to do if you're <3 years old. My kids especially enjoyed the painting and climbing areas. Also they could use some food service outside of the vending machines.
We were invited to a birthday party this past weekend, and my 4 & 6 year old had SO much fun! They have asked every day if we could go back. At one exhibit, they must have played for an hour solid. It's clean, the staff are friendly, and if you are someone who likes to have birthdays outside of... 更多
Take your children and grandchildren here. There is so much for every age up to about 13. The staff is wonderful--very interactive with the children and stimulate play for those a wee bit shy. Been to many children's museums in other cities and I think Atlanta's is a world-class venue at a great price.
My granddaughter had been before and wanted to come again since she loved it so much the first time. She really enjoyed the "grocery store", the "piano steps" and many of the other things you can do there. We signed her up for an art class this time and she made a "happy rock" which she really enjoyed making, the... 更多
If you are OTP people like us, this is in a terrible location. It's right in the epicenter of Atlanta traffic. If you stay till closing, you will get to experience Atlanta traffic at its worst. However, the kids will love you for it. Don't expect much adult/child interaction, they will be too busy to know you're there. Pleasantly surprised... 更多
