Easy to get to and amazing to see. We visited on Memorial Day and viewing all the flags was something. It is easy to get to.
We visit here regularly as we live in the area and have a grandparents and father buried here. You can feel the history and patriotism in the air as you walk or drive through the pristine cemetery. Thai was a very somber reflection on the casualty of war. The cemetery is beautifully cared for and it was sad to see the amount of "unknown" headstones. It's interesting to note the unknown solider was previously only marked with a small marble plague but now they are j stilled he dignity like all of our fallen soldiers.
didnt even know this place was here until a few years ago. you drive through and see rows and rows of tombstones from the war, its a very somber place.but very interesting.
It is difficult to say a cemetery is great because it is a cemetery. Knowing that it is well kept. Makes me pause every time and gives me goose bumps realizing all the veterans who have sacrificed for our country.
