Having seen this park & that house in the news and in lots of documentaries growing up, this place, rightly or wrongly, is a must-see for fans of Kurt / Nirvana and those on a grunge pilgramage. We were also not in a position to get to Aberdeen to see his memorial so this is the place to go. We... 更多
I am so happy I got to come here! It was quiet and serene. The park is an unofficial memorial to Kurt Cobain. It is located next this his home. There are views of his house. It is near Lake Washington. There are messages to Kurt written on benches and the fence. People come in groups the whole time I... 更多
A fitting memorial park to the late Kurt Cobain. Should be renamed Kurt's Park (like it is written in maker pen). Loads of memorials and messages written on the benches. Nice to sit in on a sunny day and listen to Nirvana and think about Kurts legacy.
I don't really want to diminish a place that obviously is meaningful for a lot of people. I had wanted to see Cobain's house and see Viretta Park, and so I'm glad I went. But truthfully... it isn't much. You can't see much of the house and the park consists essentially of two benches and that's it. I had been... 更多
Worth a visit for Nirvana fans. The house/bench are in a peaceful setting, lovely views of Lake Washington along the way. Take the no2 or 3 bus to the end of the line and walk left along the lake (lake / mountain on your right) about 10-15 mins. The bench and house are on the left. The bus from downtown... 更多
I am Canadian, from the East Coast, and been here twice. If you are a true Kurt Cobain fan, it is worth it. No, not much to see except for a bench and his house, but that was worth it for me to make that 5 miles detour and take a few pictures.
Drove to Kurts house and parked outside. A small tour group were in the park so we waited for them to leave. The new owner of Kurts house drove up and asked my husband not to take photo's while his gate was open. Sure. By this time my husband had already taken a couple of good photo's. Went to the... 更多
This is a small and otherwise unremarkable park in a residential neighborhood just off Lake Washington. But it adjoins the home in which Kurt Cobain killed himself and the park bench has become a permanent but ever-changing memorial to the musician with fans from around the world leaving notes, pictures, ticket stubs and other tributes. A couple different places from... 更多
