We buzzed into this great old waterfront museum just to see the "American Spirits" exhibit, about an hour and a half before closing time. I wish now we had planned better and come for a good 3 hours, as there was so much to see and do!

We visited the Center for Wooden boats and needed to kill some time while waiting for our boat ride. The museum had lots of information about Seattle and stuff that kept the kids entertained for a while. Adults paid and kids were free. Good value for $$ compared to other museums. Not crowded either.
Absolutely love the MOHAI. Gives a great overview of the Seattle experience and history! I was surprised at how much was in that building! The regular exhibits are great, and there are often some specials as well. To top it off, the regular exhibit portion is free on the first Thursday of every month
