This harbor is where most of the dive boats are located. It has plenty of parking and is easily accesible from Kona and Waikoloa. Restrooms are clean and located throughout the harbor.
We stopped by here in our travels along the Kona coast. Easy to get to - old fishponds nearby. We don't have a boat so I cannot say andthing about the facilities there.
Easy harbor to access, easy to get onto and off and dock boats, great little restaurant located there, along with gas station and other offices.

A large fleet of independent and company-owned boats for deep sea fishing. Private and group charters available. Our boat caught 3 fish!

Local people told us about 3 beaches close by which we walked through. One had several sea turtles close to shore. Very cool. This is where the Sea Wife... 更多
Loved - we went to watch fishing boats come in. Love the local - they chatted up a storm and I learned a lot. As a bonus we saw sea turtles , rays and a shark hanging out in the boat channel.
If you park at the end of the harbor parking lot you can walk through a "gate" and out to the little beach next to the harbor. There is a palapa there and a few trees, but the best part of this beach is that it is stocked with turtles who come there to rest, often pulling themselves up on... 更多
