Best summer ever in Medjugorje with friends and family, praying all day and night for peace worldwide, and for the forgiveness of God. This country is wonderful , plenty of trees and rivers and the most important thing is the church that all kind of people from everywhere and from far lands come to pray for God and for their countries... 更多
My wife and I visited Medjugorje during a recent visit. We were staying in Dubrovnik and hired a car through a local tour company. My wife's relatives, who are Croatian, suggested we go. They have been before on Pilgrimages. The ride from Dubrovnik can take some time as you have to pass the borders through Bosnia and Herzegovina there and... 更多
Never having the urge to visit Medjugorie, I did go recently when invited by a group of friends who have been several times before. The journey in the coach from Dubrovnik airport, along the Croatian coast was beautiful. Medjugorje is located in the southern part of Bosnia Herzegovina, which used to be a former republic of Yugoslavia. Bosnia and Herzegovina... 更多
Part of an organized group, we participated in the evening worship program, but importantly were familiarized with the history of the region and the visions which began 35 years ago. So many people of faith seeking reassurance and celebrating their beliefs, it is a place unlike any other I have visited.

We started our journet by car to go uphill. When... 更多
On the way to Mostar our family stopped at Medjugorje We all were amazed at the fact that therthen drove e wsas a church there long before any reports of sightings. We stayed about 1 hour and then drove on to Mostar
Most of the people around you will be religious and it is a little freaky at first. Like, really freaky. But nobody forces you do anything, pray, climb mountains. If you want, you can just sit around all day on the terraces of the (numerous) bars and drink beer or some of the local wine. A lot of the Irish... 更多
It´s hard to get to, Bosnia is an underdeloped counry with no tourist vocations whatsoever (especially compared to Croatia!), the church itself is simple. But the faithful must climb the (very rocky) mountain to get the full Medjugorge experience. Very emotional.
