Our tour stopped here for a picnic lunch. It was pretty, had a few picnic tables, some simple bathroom facilities, but that was about it. This was my favorite lake in Custer. It was big, and less crowded than the others. Very peaceful. The campground looked nice and would be a nice place to stay.
Hydrilla, cane, duck weed and sand mud marsh bottom creek with rocks = HUGE BASS. Definitely fish here and bring your Power Pro braid- there are big pikes here too! I am putting the map as an image and have marked the magic spot. You are welcome ;-) lol.
This area of the park doesn't seem to get as much attention as other parts, but our family absolutely loved it. We stayed a night in a cabin at the South Stockade campground and we felt like we had found our own little slice of heaven. It has a more remote feel than any of the other campgrounds we checked... 更多
This was another pretty man-made Lake in Custer Park, where we stopped for a quick picnic lunch. The backdrop of the mountains and the wooded areas makes the place very scenic and attractive. It was a fairly clean and soothing place with picnic benches, a boardwalk that juts out into the water, a hiking trail, paddleboats, and a little beach... 更多
This is an average lake. There were people fishing on the dock. We saw a turtle eating a trout which was pretty unexpected. I'm not sure if there was a place to swim.
