It's free! And the landscaping envelopes the sculptures, making them look like part of a natural setting. So peaceful and wonderful to explore.
Beautiful grounds which, although in the middle of City Park, has the feeling of a secret garden. Great, interesting sculpture placed so that you get the full viewing experience of each piece.
Loved the beauty and the explanations. This Sculpture Garden is adjacent to NOMA and it allowed you to experience both the Museum and the Garden in one visit. Across from the Garden is a wonderful place called "Morning Call" where you can get all kinds of coffees, drinks and beniets.
Our family walked through the sculpture garden after breakfast at Morning Call. My kids loved that there were different paths and ponds and turtles throughout. We spent quite a bit of time looking at all of the sculptures and walking around as a family. My kids don't normally find all art very interesting but they were looking up names of... 更多
This is a wonderful jewel adjacent to the New Orleans Museum of Art in City Park. Many famous artists in a lush, green setting with winding paths and water. Definitely worth a visit and bring your camera and take some pictures.
Free admission and a lovely place to wander, enjoy the beautiful sculptures and relax. It is located in City Park, right near the Morning Call Cafe, so you can enjoy all at the same time.
Easy to add to your NOMA visit. Quiet setting, lots of space to enjoy the scenery. Interesting events are scheduled here throughout the year, especially around holidays.
viewing a large safety pin sculpture brought a smile to my face in addition to some of the other sculptures there. Very clean garden with a little river that flows through it.
Very much worth taking the time to walk this garden. If it's a nice day you can also do the nearby botanical garden and a path around the lake. A welcome and restful contrast to the French Quarter for sure!
If you enjoy looking at sculpture then this is a must see. It is located in the city park and a streetcar stops right outside the front gate. The range of sculptures covers classical to interesting to down right weird, but a great way to spend a couple of hours.
An oasis mixing art and nature...what could be better? Well worth the visit for art enthusiasts and anyone seeking a peaceful moment on an adventure packed vacation!
The sculpture garden isn't huge. If you want a pleasant walk, you could probably make it through the entire thing in half an hour. But we stopped and looked at almost every piece there, so it was about 90 minutes. It's relaxing and much of it is in the shade. An easy amble. I especially loved the giant spine and... 更多
This is beautiful way to spend part of a day. The sculpture collection is distinctively modern and arrayed along a walking path in a lovely garden setting. Amazing way to take in art and public gardens at the same time. Very well maintained. Also, it's across from the Museum of Art. The City Park trolley takes you right there. And... 更多
