Located in a wonderful small neighborhood. If you're a novice or seasoned home cook, you will take something away from this class. Very hands on. You cut, you chop, you dice, and then when you're done with the knife work, you drink. Chef Bond and assistant Stacey make the fun and educational. And the food you make is AWESOME!!

We loved the relaxed atmosphere with Chef Bond. He is passionate about cooking and it is contagious. We can't wait to recreate our amazing lunch for family and friends.

This cooking school experience was fantastic, and exceeded my expectations. What a super day! Chef Bond is warm, friendly and a great teacher, who is clearly passionate and enthusiastic about his NOLA cuisine and roots. His helper Stacey is a bubbly funny character, who adds so much to the day. You learn everything, the history, cooking techniques, knife skills, roux... 更多

Lovely house, great welcome from Chef Bond and Stacy. Started off getting the bread pudding underway, sliced a mountain of garlic, prepared the roux for the gumbo, got the crawfish étouffée together... then we got to eat what we'd made, and very nice it was too, thanks to our mentors. Do book, you will not be disappointed but i) make... 更多

This was just the best day in NOLA. We made bread pudding, gumbo, and crawfish etouffee. So very good, and Chef Bond, Stacy and Troy were just so much fun. The food was exquisite. It was great going to the West Bank and seeing a warm home. Also, great tips on technique. I'm looking forward to receiving the recipes by email!... 更多

Chef Bond and his team treated us like family, teaching us about the history of the amazing New Orleans cuisine in the Sauces class. It was a great mix of food, history and fun. I want to return to do another one of his classes- we loved every dish!

The class was fun with good food! Also learned some new skills and yummy recipes. It's an easy ferry ride from the French quarter and 2 block walk from ferry. Nice neighborhood, adorable house.

I have previously done demonstration cooking class in the French Quarter. When my son and his wife said they wanted to taking a cooking class during their visit, I immediately said "OK, as long as it's a hands-on class". Good choice. The 5 of us (my wife and other son were with us also) took the ferry from the end... 更多

My friend and I loved this 'hands on' class. We are both longtime cooks, but learned tips on making a proper roux, the difference between Cajun and Creole cooking, and made dishes that we will make again at home. The gumbo was especially good. I'll definitely take the sauce class when I'm back in town.

Sitting pretty across the Mississippi River from the rambunctious French Quarter, the Crescent City’s second oldest neighborhood is as historic and as scenic as any – just a lot less showy about it. With its numerous 19th and early 20th century homes and plentiful parks and riverside green space for cycling and walking, subdued and low key Algiers yields the best views of New Orleans and offers a quiet haven from the hustle and bustle in other parts of town. Most of the area’s activity, for visitors anyway, takes place at Algiers Point where the famous Canal Street / Algiers Ferry has been the main attraction since 1827 and is still giving folks one of the best rides in town at very affordable rates. Restaurants, bars and music venues here all but guarantee the utmost of authentic experiences sans any hype or high prices.
