Go where the locals go! We lucked out and made it there on Zydeco night. Lots of good music, bowling and dancing. Friendly people, very nice bar and more than decent bowling alley food but Commander's Palace, its not! I felt very comfortable there with my teenagers though we did leave about 9:30pm because it had been a long day!... 更多
We had a private party at this interesting venue. Most of it is like a big barn but they had an excellent zydeco band with lots of room for dancing. The food was good and plentiful, as were the drinks. It is a fun place to hang out, though we never got to bowl because they are few lanes for... 更多
The rest of the world could use a good dose of the Rock & Bowl! This was my 2nd visit for Thursday Zydeco night. What you will find is awesome music, people of all ages & skin tones & every single one of the will have a huge smile on their face. I have two left feet, but the sweet... 更多
We've been to New Orleans several times and this time brought friends who have never heard of Rock n Bowl, and were a little skeptical...but told us later it was the highlight of their trip! Dancing to Zydeco bands on Thursday night, and ice cold drinks and beer...and of course bowling. All in a big old airy 1940's bowling alley.... 更多
Very weird concept, bowling and performers, but it works! Saw two great performers, didn't bowl but could have. Great music and lots of dancing. We were able to get there on the bus from canal st, downtown, but got a cab home as it was quite late. Great value for the price, $20 I believe. Will definitely go back next... 更多
The conference I was attending took us to Rock n' Bowl for an evening of bowling, music, and food. Fantastic. The venue itself is very cool.....something out of the 40's or 50's. Lots of very nice bowling lanes, a huge dance floor, a big bar, and excellent bar food. The band performing (sorry...didn't catch the name) was excellent - something... 更多
What an amazing place!!! Be ready to dance even if you don't think you know the moves there is always someone to guide you. Great bar scene and music.
Fun. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less. Zydeco music blares from the stage, and the one thing that is clear - everyone has a good time. Go. Its worth the $10 cover.
Over priced, too loud and crowded to a point that people are taking other people's seats and being rude!! I had a lady ask me if the seat next to me was taken, jacket and my husband's drink wasn't a clue...I said yes and she proceeded to go off on me about being hospitable and sharing!!!?? I will never go... 更多
You'll have to take a cab. You'll do it, because you'll find the most incredible Zydeco band playing here every Thursday night. First, you'll eat at Ye Olde College Inn across the parking lot. (See review.) Then you'll go dance off all those calories you gained on your trip at the bowling alley. You probably won't get a lane, but... 更多
