We took this tour with our four children (ages 13-8). We all loved it and were captivated from the minute it started. So much information was learned. It was not creepy at all.

Did the tour at Lafayette No 1 in Garden District with Brad as our tour guide. Very informative. We learned a lot about the cemetery in one and half hour. We are very satisfied. Highly recommended.

The guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. It is really so much better going on a tour than just looking at tomb after tomb not knowing anything other than "some old people are buried in the cemetery, look at the dates George."

Tracy was an amazing tour guide. She was knowledgeable and had great stories about the tombs their inhabitants and future inhabitants. The tour was an hour and a half long and was just the right amount of time. Being March and the fact that it was already 80 degrees, this tour was hot. Definitely being a water & try to... 更多

Antonino was a very good guide. Full of good information with some humorous asides. Liked that the tour was part of a nonprofit helping to preserve these fragile monuments.

Our tour guide, Bill, was so knowledgable and so patient. Adults and teenager both felt this was one of the highlights of our trip to New Orleans

We had a great guide (Nancy) who helped us manage to see the cemetery in spite of the many other groups who were visiting at the same time. She was knowledgeable and thoughtful in her information and history. Thank you.

Cemeteries are one of New Orleans' must-visit feature, and you need to do at least one guided tour to get the story of how they work. St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 is closest to the French Quarter and accessible only by tour.

We toured St. Louis#1 with Tracey and it was great! She was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. She had pictures and music on her phone to go along with the topics she discussed. She is very well prepared! She is also funny and entertaining. The cemetery is a historic treasure. There is so much to see in such a small area.

Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
