Great experience - learned a lot about the history of NOLA. Tour guide was into it and warned us the tour was going to go over time (it did).

We took a joint tour of St Louis Cemeteries 1 and 2. Our guide, Jamie, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. She told us about history, myths, famous people, customs, and much more. We saw fancy, old, vandalized, group, and just about any other type of grave possible.

One can only enter St. Louis Cemetery with a certified guide. We booked one week in advance on line, $20 per person with this group; Save our Cemeteries. Our guide Martha was very informative and a great guide for this 2 hour tour. We met 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time at Our Lady of Guadalupe, St Jude... 更多

I definitely recommend visiting this cemetery, but we were not impressed with our guide, Tracy. Tracy's style was to "entertain" with little jokes and guessing games with punch lines. We didn't find them too amusing and would prefer a straightforward explanation. It was really hot so I recommend bringing an umbrella for shade.

This tour is hosted by Volunteers of the organization "Save our Cemeteries". They are so very knowledgeable and friendly - and are doing this because of their love of these cemeteries and wanting people to know the history behind it. Your money is going back to these places directly and our Tour guide (Val) made a point of showing us... 更多

The tour was well worth the cost. It began promptly at a nearby Church. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly.

We loved our cemetery tour. Wanda Payne was our guide. She made it fun and was very informative. My teenage son said that we were lucky we had such a good tour guide.

If you are interested in New Orleans history, you will enjoy this tour. Our guide, Martha, was entertaining and she dispelled some of the common assumptions about burials in New Orleans. It was a great way to spend time in the Crescent City with my 16-year-old granddaughter.

Amazing tour by Arthur Smith. Such deep knowledge of New Orleans and the cemetery. Highly recommended.

Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
