We found our way into the Old Opera House, drawn by the music. The band, "Chicken on the Bone" was incredible. The played hits from the 60s-80s with emotion and energy. We enjoyed them so much we purchased t-shirts and a CD! If they had only served some food or appetizers we would have stayed all night. Otherwise, the drinks... 更多

Good drinks good music. However if you want the tv changed you'll have to ask security to do it. (?) Otherwise good time.

It's a hole in the wall...let's be honest. But the atmosphere is amazing. On this night we listened to a band called Chicken on the Bone. Holy cow...it was the best live band I have heard in years in that sort of establishment. I really wished my 18 year old was with us because he would have really enjoyed it... 更多

We had eaten then just walked around the French Quarter. It started to rain so we ducked into the Old Opera House to get out of the rain, and we could hear the band playing. "Chicken on the Bone" was playing and they were awesome - they cranked out one rock classic after the other - and the crowd was... 更多

Probably depends on which night you go but it can be a fun bar. Saw "Chicken on the Band?" the other night and they were a great act - real audience participation. Tonight was ok but didn't compare.

I was in town with a friend for a couple of nights. We went to 544 and saw Chicken on the Bone and they were great. Then we came and found Fusion at the Old Opera House and I never wanted to leave. The band was awesome. The vocalists were awesome. The sax player played a lot Thursday night and... 更多

Located on a corner of world famous Bourbon Street (600 block), this nightclub/bar rocks all night. Doors open from both sides of the corner allowing a free flow of people, in and out, all night long. Last night, Chicken on the Bone, was the featured band - a New Orleans favorite - and everyone in the club was up dancing... 更多

My wife and I, along with my best friend and his wife strolled in there last Saturday night. Not the swankiest place in town, but it doesn't need to be because the band was rockin it! No cover charge makes it even better. The band that was playing, Chicken on a Bone, were absolutely terrific. The band constantly played one... 更多

It's all about the music at this place. The house band named "One Night Stand" was fabulous and inspires dancing. If you are looking for atmosphere or pretty walls and floor then keep walking. Also the bathrooms are not really usable...ugh!

在French Quarter的住宿

周围地区详细资料
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
