The gardens are lovely. There are many different areas and plantings. I recommend visiting Olbrich Gardens. The outdoor gardens didn't have a charge, but there is a small charge to go to the indoor conservatory exhibit. We enjoyed the visit.
A bit of a cool day, overcast, but dry. As its just the beginning of the spring, the buds were just peeking through, and the place was full of birds. The trees and plants are well marked and signed, both Latin and English names, the paths take you through all the parts of the garden, and around the ponds and... 更多
On a recent trip to Madison for an academic conference, I had the chance to sneak away to walk through this 16 acre garden with my husband. The garden is mostly outside, and opens early. We were there in mid-April, and the bulbs were starting to open and we were treated to daffodils and hyacinth-galore! The trees were still just... 更多
It is so pretty and can go and relax in nature. Parts of the garden walk are free. The gardens are world class and few visitors go since it is off the main sights in Madison. Worth the 10 minute drive from the Capital
Olbrich Gardens has a very nice conservatory which is home to a waterfall and koi ponds with bridges for viewing the fish, along with tropical plants, birds that live there year-round, orchids, and educational signs throughout for adults and children to learn more about the plants and how they grow and are used. There's also a gift shop, and occasionally... 更多
Olbrich Gardens is a beautiful place to spend some time. It always brings back wonderful memories for me. My husband and I were married there in Sept 87. It's a wonderful place to visit if you would like some serenity. Take time in your day to smell the roses all kinds of them.
Had a getaway weekend with my wife. We toured State Street and it was like being back in college. Very unique shops. bustling with student activity. The view of the capitol is always breathtaking
Came here just out of curiosity. Gardens are beautiful. The trails are lovely as well. It was a really nice day and was a lovely walk around the gardens. Plenty of space for kids to play!
My parents live close, so on a visit to see them they took me here. So beautiful and peaceful!! We have also been there in the Christmas season and saw the train display. My boys LOVED that very much!! Can't wait to go again next time we visit!
We loved seeing the Thai building with the beautiful gold leaf. Wish we would have been here in the spring or summer. I bet it is wonderful
i loved it. we go there every time we visit madison. i've been to a wedding there and it was done really well. the outside grounds are fabulous in season.
During the winter it's a nice trip down there because you can feel the difference between the climate inside and outside. Always have something going on there, check the attractions during the week. Sunday or saturday during the morning it's free.
