We hiked the trail to the falls which was labeled moderate. It looked like a simple loop to the lake but it is really up the hill and then down along steep slopes. There are bridges over stream beds and uneven stone stairs for many of the steepest parts. This would be an ideal hike for Cub Scout age kids.... 更多
If this power plant noise was gone this would be a perfect park. It is horrendous day and night. Parking alongside the US40 would be quieter. Crying shame as it is a beautiful spot..hike for the day but leave the noise behind...don't spend the night...true noise pollution here.
great walk to the falls, we found if follow the path to right, the hiking is enjoyable and challenging. the path to left which leads almost directly along the lake back to the falls is much shofrter and easier.
Our family camps here for two weeks annually. Very well maintained. Full hook ups for RVs. Lake is always cool and refreshing. Hiking trails. You won't be disappointed!!
With three trails to follow starting at 2 miles or just a short cut to the bigger falls it makes for a pleasant day of just hiking. You can take the short cut along the lake edge if you just want to see the falls and take a swim. The lake is beautiful and the camp grounds are clean and... 更多

We've stayed in LCSP several times and are always sad to leave. Beautiful lake with amazing over-the-water cottage rentals that are always very clean and impressive. They have the lowest-cost pontoon boat rentals I've ever encountered for 2-3 year old (max) perfect condition boats. Can not say enough good things about LCSP and can't wait to go back! Perfect!!!
