We visited the park and had a picnic lunch followed by a 4 mile hike around the peninsula. There is no admission to the state parks and there were nice facilities. The trail was easy to follow and we enjoyed the hike.
We rented a boat and spent few hours on the lake. Lots of private spots to swim if you don't want company. The lake is huge so if you want to see more plan spending an entire day here. Take lots of sun lotion and water!
We had been looking for a place to go since the houseboating on Lake Amistad in Texas had shut down a few years ago. We just spent a week on Lake Ouachita, and it is a gorgeous lake, crystal clear water, and a great place to houseboat. We rented a 75' long houseboat for four couples out of Dream Chasers... 更多

Rented a pontoon boat for the day and life was prefect. Lake is crystal clear. You'll love it. Plan a couple of days to cruise around and enjoy all the wonderful spots.
The water is beautifully clear. Houseboats, party barges, jet skis, ski boats, etc. are available. It is the best lake I've ever been on...what more can I say?
This is a nice lake to see while in Hot Springs. Rent a boat so you can ride around and see all the islands on the lake. Take your goggles and you can explore and find cool looking rocks. A bust see in Hot Springs
